COMMUNITY FUND RAISING EVENT THAREL THOMPSON
The Barbadian Community Group, Barbados & Friends Association (BAFA) have come together with others in the community in starting a series of fundraisers for Tharel Thompson who on visiting family members in the town was stabbed in the head.
The event is on Saturday 23rd March 2024 at the Mapp Community Centre (Apollo) 22 - 24 Mount Pleasant Reading RG1 2TD from 2pm - 8pm.
There is a huge outstanding amount of money for Tharel's hospital fees whilst he is here in England. And the family need our help.
Tharel’s mother Yvonne Thompson has flown over to be with her son however, the financial issue has come as a huge cloud on top of the fact that Tharel has had a near miss of his life ! It is too early to say how this attack is going to affect Tharel long term.
So people, the above is just a snippit as to, it would be good to see you and have your support on the day ! Reading c'mon show this young guy some love !! And bring your purses and wallets !!
