The music of Steve McQueen: inside his ‘Small Axe’ soundtrack
The anthology of films consists of five films that tell distinct stories about the lives of West Indian immigrants in London from the 1960s to the 1980s
The Small Axe collection of films were aired on the BBC in 2020. John Boyega, Letitia Wright and Naomi Ackie were among its star-studded cast.
The Soundtrack album will be released from the Record Store Day on the June 12th 2021. Steve McQueen has collaborated with Motown Records’ UK imprint to release a soundtrack album from the five films (including limited edition vinyl) for the first time.
