Syringes in Coal Woodland Caversham Reading . Yesterday we were saddened to find out that the numerous syringes in the park had not been cleared out although we had repeatedly reported their presence and we were promised they had been dealt with.
We did not feel like leaving the woodland once again abandoning this sad view as you see it in the picture, so I made the decision to collect them myself.
Please NEVER touch needles and syringes if you go litter picking, but make sure they are well visible and report them to Reading Borough Council.
In case RBC fails to dispose of them despite you report them multiple times, please call me and I will do it for you, but please please please do not put you or your volunteers are risk
