The first Saturday night since lockdown easing and as Pubs across the Town were allowed to opened and you can drink inside pubs great news.
The town centre was buzzing on Saturday night and nice to see people late into Saturday night walking around the town area, a feeling of happiness, pub managers reporting their pubs were full and sales were up.
It was nice also for the local Taxi cabs as people were using a cab on the way home this evening, plus the passenger number was up on our local bus network, so all the signs that we are returning to normal. The word on the streets of Reading drink and be happy.
