COVID19 UPDATE LATER ON TODAY

Matt Hancock Health secretary says will be updating the UK later on today with the new tier for the UK.

The decision to close all schools will be high on the agenda. As the NHS struggles with recent COVID19 admissions. A joint statement from six unions representing teachers and other school staff condemned the “chaotic handling” of the reopening of schools after Christmas.

The government has been slow in its handling of the pandemic. and because of this, the spread of the virus itself has increased.

The government has promised more testing and more vaccination. But, the government is still under dispute. The hope is that Matt Hancock will be more transparent in the next step of the pandemic.
