Army on standby to stock Britain's shelves: Up to 2,000 HGV drivers are on five-day to notice to deliver food and essentials, the British Army is gearing up to make sure our food shops will not run empty as COVID has hit many HGV drivers at this time.

The Ministry of Defence has said our armed forces are on standby to keep Britain's food stores shelves stocked up, due to many HGV drivers going ill across the UK.

There is no

need to panic buy or stock pile food.
