Car Arson Attack in Reading

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED

There was an arson attack to Odane Cross car which was parked outside his house in Tilehurst Reading on Tuesday night. (10/)8).

Fire Fighters from Dee Road Fire Station were called to put the car fire out.

Mr Cross said there was a big bang then came the flames all we could do was watch my car I use for work go up in flames.

My car was packed just outside my house. Police are appealing for witness to come forward or for anyone with dash cam footage to contact them on 101.

Odane is the founder of the 'Knives Down Amnesty ' he collected knives from young people in Reading and handed them to the police.

Odane and his team held an event 'Knives Down ! Boots on ! recently.

The event included a football tournament and also the introductory of new Black Businesses. Everyone who took part in the tournament received free food and drink (Chicken, Bread and water) donated by Cross Kitchens.

He has just opened his Cross Kitchen Eatery in the Oxford road West Reading.
