Southern Water has been fined £90 million for allowing sewage to flow into the sea. This happened on the North Kent and Hampshire coasts. The water was milky white.
The investigation was one of the biggest taken place. And the Judge in Court made an example of Southern Water to other companies failing to adhere to the rules.
