About this Event - Online Event on Eventbrite Hosted by Black Ottawa Connect & Ottawa Young Black Professionals, this event is for anyone who would like to attend and learn.

We know that the COVID-19 pandemic has been hard on communities of colour, and particularly the Black Community.

This conversation will allow Black people to sit down (virtually) with Black medical professionals and have an informal and easy chat around COVID-19, the COVID-19 vaccines and ways we can keep healthy during this pandemic.

What you can expect:

  • Meet Black Health Care Professionals

  • We will be asking questions that are submitted ahead of time about COVID-19, the vaccine, and ways we can keep healthy during this pandemic.

  • Open Forum Q&A: Ask any question you would like to the panel!

Who will be there?

  • Dr. Kwadwao Kyeremanteng, Internal Medicine + Critical Care Medicine

  • Dr. Lian Peter, Family Medicine

  • Dr. Pamela Kapend, Family Medicine + Emergency Medicine

  • Dr. Catherine Newry, Naturopathic Doctor

Submit Your Question in Advance We will happily take questions on the event day, however if you submit your question here we will be better able to address it at the event!
