A MESSAGE FROM THE ROYAL BERKSHIRE FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICE

Summer Internship Scheme is now open for applications. As part of the programme, we are offering five internship positions to 18-year-old residents of Berkshire who are from backgrounds that are currently under-represented within our Service.

It is a paid internship and will give students a fantastic opportunity to begin developing their workplace skills and within a modern fire and rescue service. The internship will last for five weeks in the summer, during which time each intern will have the opportunity to gain valuable real-world work experience and transferable skills that will help them in their future careers.

We are now accepting applications for this year’s scheme via the recruitment portal on our website. Please spread the word to anyone who you think would be interested in or benefit from taking part in the internship.
