The screening of Harriet Tubeman will be on the 25th October 2023 at the Minghella building, Whiteknights Campus Reading.
The University of Reading BAME Network presents a free film screening to honour this year’s BHM theme Saluting our Sisters, featuring the moving story of Harriet Tubman.
A thrilling and inspirational tale based on the life of an iconic American freedom fighter, Harriet tells the extraordinary tale of Harriet Tubman’s escape from slavery and transformation into one of America’s greatest heroes.
Her courage, ingenuity, and tenacity freed hundreds of slaves and changed the course of history.
