Emergency service rushed to reports of a cyclist and a number six Reading Bus in a collision today Monday 5 July 2021, Thames Valley Officers closed apart of the Basingstoke Road in South Reading for around two hours today.

Paramedics were also sent to the injured cyclist would was later take to hospital by the Thames Valley air ambulance for treatment,, Bus has diverted away from the area for some time.

This evening the Basingstoke Road in South Reading is now open...

Thames Valley Roads policing unit have now started innovation into how the accident happened.

Police would as drivers or people who have web cam footage to come forwards to help them.

We hope the cyclist gets well very soon.
