*COMMUNITY NEWS* Whitley Wood - Orchard Planting Day 24th Feb 2024

Please do join us on Saturday 24th February, between 11am and 4pm to plant more trees in the Whitley Orchard and help make this a real hidden gem in the middle of Whitley Wood.

A family friendly drop in event, we’ll provide everything needed to get involved.

Refreshments and snacks provided, and you may get the chance to take part of the orchard home with you!

There’ll also be the chance to meet Winston Ellis, actor in films such as Pirates of the Caribbean and Fast and Furious, who’ll be there from about 12ish.

This is a Reading Borough Council event in partnership with Freely Fruity and Urban Planting. Winston Ellis is an ambassador for Freely Fruity.
