About PACT:

PACT has been building and strengthening families since 1911 through its community projects across the Thames Valley and as an independent adoption charity in London and the South.

In addition to Alana House, PACT’s other community project is Bounce Back 4 Kids (BB4K) which supports children and families affected by domestic abuse. In 2021 the BB4K project supported 83 children and 72 parents recovering from domestic abuse.

PACT is one of the leading adoption charities in the Consortium of Voluntary Adoption Agencies (CVAA) in terms of placing children with loving families. In 2021 PACT found loving and permanent homes for 64 children.

PACT’s adoption services were rated outstanding by Ofsted in all areas in 2014 and 2017.

PACT operates award-winning adoption support services in the form of therapeutic support, counselling, advice, training, virtual events and support in education. In 2021 70 adoptive families were supported by our team of adopter champions, 89 families came to our family fun days and 72 children came to activity groups.

PACT’s online support platform The Adopter Hub provides round the clock advice and support to adopters, special guardians, foster carers and professionals working with adoptive families. In 2021, 3,400 parents, caregivers and professionals users accessed The Hub.
